Halliburton Confirms Data Stolen in Cyberattack

US oil service company Halliburton has confirmed that corporate data was stolen from its systems during a ransomware attack in August. The company admitted that the attack caused significant disruptions and limited access to parts of its IT systems. The suspected perpetrators of the attack are the ransomware gang, RansomHub. Halliburton is currently assessing the breach and has involved law enforcement in its investigations.
