The EU Commission has published an action plan aimed at improving cybersecurity in hospitals and healthcare providers across the EU. The plan will focus on preventing cyber-attacks, detecting and identifying threats, responding to cyber-attacks and deterring cyber threat actors. Measures include the establishment of a European Cybersecurity Support Centre, an EU-wide early warning system, a ransomware recovery subscription service and a cybersecurity voucher system for smaller healthcare providers.
