DeepSeek iOS app sends data unencrypted to ByteDance-controlled servers

DeepSeek, an app by ByteDance, sends data, including encrypted information, to servers located in China, leading to concerns over privacy breaches. After security firm Wiz found a publicly accessible database containing sensitive user data, US lawmakers are pushing to ban DeepSeek from government devices.
