The Lazarus Group, linked to North Korea, is suspected of carrying out a LinkedIn recruiting scam, according to researchers at BitDefender. They report that the attackers entice individuals with lucrative job offers in cryptocurrency-related positions. However, these offers are a lure to download malicious code and steal personal and corporate information. The researchers advise vigilance, verifying job offers and not executing unverified code. The malware detected is known to target cryptocurrency wallets.
