North Korean hackers are using malware known as FlexibleFerret to target Mac operating systems through a campaign called Contagious Interview. The campaign involves luring victims into installing the malware under the guise of a job interview process. The new malware strain has currently remained undetected by Apple’s on-device malware tool, XProtect. The increasing popularity of Mac devices among developers and management has led to a rise in such cyberattacks.
