A 22-year-old named Andean Medjedovic has been indicted for stealing $65 million in cryptocurrency from two decentralized finance platforms, KyberSwap and Indexed Finance, in 2021 and 2023. The prosecution claims he exploited the platforms’ vulnerabilities, created artificial prices, induced system glitches, and tried to extort developers and investors. He allegedly laundered the stolen funds and attempted to bypass restrictions through “bridge” protocols.
