Researchers have created a novel machine-learning based framework, CryptoDNA, to address Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks threatening healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The framework uses behavioural analytics, entropy-based traffic analysis, and other features to detect anomalies and flags potential threats. The system achieved a detection accuracy of 96.8% and can adapt to device conditions, demonstrating its effectiveness and efficiency against cyber threats in healthcare IoT environments.
