The Business Registration Services (BRS) suffered a significant data breach, causing private company information to be exposed. The breach, believed to be an act of sabotage, occurred on 31st January and is currently being investigated. The stolen data is already being sold on the dark web. It’s the first major cyber attack on a government entity in Kenya in over a year.
