We must support pathways for passionate students to join the healthcare workforce

The PIMA JTED and Tucson Medical Center partnership aims to train and certify such professionals, offering an alternate career pathway for students right out of high school. This is seen as a way to address workforce shortages in the healthcare sector, especially as Arizona is set to face a 28,000-nurse shortfall by 2025.
