Ransomware Attack Disrupts Blood Donation Services in US

The New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe) has been subjected to a ransomware attack, affecting its blood donation services across the US. NYBCe started noticing suspicious cyber activities on its IT systems from January 26. Although the centre is currently working with experts to restore its system, the timeline for it is still unclear. As a result, blood donations are still being accepted, but the processing time could be relatively longer.
