Malware named J-Magic that uses a “magic packet” to bypass network defenses has infiltrated dozens of enterprises using Juniper Network’s JunoOS VPNs, remaining undetected due to its ability to stay dormant until activated. Researchers found J-Magic running inside 36 organizations but are yet to find out how it was installed.
