As AI-based drugs proceed rapidly in progress, doctors could reportedly prescribe these within years. The next phase, multiomics, tackles data complexity by blending information from genomes, proteomes, etc. This could speed up development even more and identify links missed by human researchers. However, AI systems currently lack accuracy due to continual biological discoveries and the complexities of biological systems.
