84% of Healthcare Organizations Spotted a Cyberattack within the Last 12 Months, and 69% of Them Faced Financial Damage as a Result

A survey by cybersecurity firm Netwrix revealed that 84% of healthcare organisations spotted a cyberattack in the past year. Many of the attacks resulted in financial damage, a change in senior leadership, or lawsuits. Notably, the healthcare sector experienced these consequences more frequently than other industries, with phishing and compromised user accounts being the primary threats.
