Beware! Fake Crowdstrike Recruitment Emails Spread Cryptominer Malware

CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity firm, has discovered a phishing campaign that uses its hiring brand to spread malware. The scam involves a fraudulent email that lures people to a malicious website where they are prompted to download a harmful “employee CRM application”. The downloaded application functions as a downloader for the cryptominer XMRig. The company has called for vigilance against phishing scams.
