A security researcher revealed that more than 150 of Motorola’s Automated License-Plate-Recognition (ALPR) systems had exposed live video feeds and leaked vehicle data due to a flaw. The ALPR systems, used by law enforcement, have consequently shared broadly accessible real-time vehicle information online, including car photos and license plate logs. The manufacturer confirmed these data exposures and is reportedly working to resolve the issue.
