Cybersecurity researchers have discovered a sophisticated remote access trojan (RAT) named NonEuclid. It offers unauthorised access to compromised Windows systems, using advanced evasion techniques. It configures Microsoft Defender Antivirus exclusions and employs anti-detection mechanisms. Additionally, it incorporates features to bypass Windows Antimalware Scan Interface, and it can encrypt files. NonEuclid has been discussed and promoted on underground forums, Discord servers, and tutorial platforms since at least November 2024.
