The Act, which is supported by cybersecurity group I Am The Cavalry, proposes steps such as creating a coordination centre, establishing a $100m funding program for smaller hospitals’ cybersecurity efforts, requiring basic cybersecurity standards, and developing liability protection for larger hospital systems helping smaller ones.
