Data-loss prevention company Cyberhaven hit by breach, statement says, ET Telecom

Hackers have compromised an employee of data protection firm, Cyberhaven, to potentially steal sensitive information from the company’s users. The hackers have allegedly used the company’s Chrome extension to launch the attack. Cyberhaven has urged customers to reset their passwords and check their logs for suspicious activity. Other browser extensions related to AI and VPNs have also been compromised, suggesting the hackers were indiscriminate rather than targeting Cyberhaven specifically.
