Analysis of fake Zoom conference phishing scams that cost more than $1 million

Hackers have created fake Zoom conference phishing attacks, stealing crypto assets worth millions of dollars. The malicious attacks invite users to click on Zoom meeting links, triggering the download of a malware script. Analysis from SlowMist suggests the hackers could be Russian, with the attacks beginning around mid-November. In response, users are advised to verify meeting links before clicking, avoid unknown software, and regularly update antivirus software.
