How a Fake Zoom App Stole $1M

Cyber attackers have stolen $1 million from a experienced miner in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) community using a fake Zoom app. The phishing attack started on Twitter with a person impersonating the CEO of a real crypto project. After downloading and opening the link, malware captured the wallet credentials and their private keys. After confirm that their Twitter account had been hacked, the victim discovered their crypto wallet had been emptied.
