A new automated penetration testing tool called PentestGPT is now available on GitHub. The tool, built using the GPT-4 model of the AI language model ChatGPT, reportedly simplifies and assists in penetration testing operations. Its creator, a PhD student called GreyDGL, has incorporated three modules for generating and reasoning tests, and parsing outputs. However, to access PentestGPT, a ChatGPT Plus membership is required.
