$2M e-ICU project to be launched in regional Korea

South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare is allocating 2.5 billion won ($1.7 million) to establish a remote ICU network in regional hospitals by 2026. This integrated control center will monitor patient conditions, provide rapid alerts, and facilitate collaboration among hospitals, addressing healthcare resource disparities.
