Kaspersky Warns of Rising Threat from Crypto-Draining Malware

According to global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, discussions about “crypto-drainers,” malware designed to empty cryptocurrency wallets, have significantly increased by 135% on the dark web in 2024. Corporate database advertisements on the dark web have also seen a 40% increase. Cybersecurity trends for 2025 suggest cybercriminals moving back to the dark web from Telegram and an increase in the use of stealers and drainers.
