Are password managers safe for enterprise use?

As the use of applications and software rises, so too does the requirement for usernames and passwords. This has resulted in more sophisticated methods of attacking user accounts and stricter authentication requirements. One solution to this is password managers, which consolidate all a user’s passwords into one place. However, these have been subject to attacks, and are a consolidation of risk into one point of failure. To maintain safety, enterprises must evaluate real use cases and potential breach impact, choosing advanced encryption and other protective features.
