The emerging ransomware group Termite claimed responsibility for the November 21 cyberattack on AI-driven supply chain management firm Blue Yonder. The incident affected retailers including Starbucks and two major UK grocery chains. Termite, which first appeared in late October, reportedly stole approximately 680GB of Blue Yonder’s data. Ransomware is a significant and growing threat, with the frequency of such attacks increasing by an average of 75% in 2023.
