2.9 Billion Records Compromised in NPD Breach – Recap

The largest ever data breach, which exposed 2.9 billion records linked to the National Public Data (NPD) and compromised sensitive information of nearly half the global population, was recently uncovered. Hacker group USDoD claimed responsibility and is offering the extensive database for $3.5 million on the dark web.
