Medical device manufacturer Artivion has experienced a significant ransomware attack, which has disrupted its operations. The attack resulted in the encryption and acquisition of company files. Steps have been taken to contain the breach including investigating the situation and involving legal and cybersecurity experts. Despite these efforts, delays have been experienced in order processing, shipping, and in some corporate functions. Artivion confirmed it has already incurred expenses related to the incident.
