Two National Health Service (NHS)-affiliated hospitals in the UK, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Wirral University Teaching Hospital, have suffered separate cyberattacks within a week. Alder Hey’s patient records were breached, while Wirral had to isolate its systems and postpone procedures. The incidents are currently under investigation.
