The Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have been hit by a major cyberattack. A ransomware gang named the INC group has threatened to leak sensitive patient data, including names, addresses, medical reports, donation details, and financial documents, dating from 2018 to 2024. The National Crime Agency and the National Cyber Security Centre are investigating as the hospitals operate as usual.
