No data loss in Calgary Public Library cybersecurity incident, officials say

The Calgary Public Library has confirmed that it did not compromise any business, employee or member data during a cyberattack earlier this month. After an external monitoring service detected suspicious activity on Oct 11, the library shut down all its branches. CEO Sarah Meilleur has hailed the response protocol, adding that no contact was made with the attackers and no ransom was paid.
