Microsoft has come under fire after releasing the Bing Wallpaper app, which has been described by Windows developer Rafael Rivera as a “nightmare for user’s security and privacy”. Critics say the app installs Bing Visual Search, a geolocation web API and tries to change browser settings, potentially breaching privacy and security.
