UK steps up NHS cyber protection amid concerns of Putin hybrid attack

The UK is maximising its homeland security efforts to counter Russia’s ‘hybrid war’ including increased cyber attack threats and disruptions to undersea fibre optic cables. The government will prioritise strengthening national infrastructure and plan to update data and digital services through the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill. A major focus of the upcoming Strategic Defence Review will be countering this ‘grey zone’ activity.
