While attitudes about gender roles have traditionally limited women to caregiving and domestic tasks in Russian-speaking countries, some women, especially from younger generations, are now taking on leadership roles in cybercrime. The researchers suggest that these women could find supportive employment in security if they chose to work within legal frameworks.
