Around 54% report directly to the CEO, and 20% now hold the title Chief Digital and Information Officer. Operational focus is on adopting AI and machine learning (anticipated by 92% of CIOs by 2025) and enhancing security procedures. Despite high turnover (53% in roles for less than three years), job satisfaction is strong.
