Address growing cyber threats to medical devices with IEEE 2933

The former CTO of IBM, Florence Hudson, explains IEEE 2933, a new healthcare cybersecurity standard from the IEEE Standards Association. The standard addresses the rising vulnerability of healthcare devices to cyber threats by establishing a framework for clinical IoT data and device validation and interoperability. The TIPPSS principles (Trust, Identity, Privacy, Protection, Safety, Security) central to IEEE 2933 aim to ensure more secure communication across healthcare systems.
