Indian hospitals are improving cybersecurity measures, with 89% having implemented third-party risk management systems, according to a report by Deloitte India and the Data Security Council of India. However, only 10% have comprehensive data privacy programs. While 90% have strategies for cyberattacks, just 60% practice these. The report suggests allocating 12-15% of budget to cybersecurity over the next two years. Currently, half of hospitals carry cyber insurance.
