Cybercriminals target victims in Spain, Germany, Ukraine with Strela Stealer malware

Hive0145, a cybercriminal group, has stolen information across Europe by infecting targets with the Strela Stealer malware, delivered through phishing emails. The group uses the stolen data for email fraud or is possibly selling it for advanced business email compromise. IBM X-Force researchers found the group is primarily targeting victims in Spain, Germany, and Ukraine. The origin of Hive0145 remains unknown, though Ukraine has noticed increased financially-motivated cyberattacks from groups linked with Russia.
