Four research projects led by the University of Wollongong (UOW) have received $4.5m from the Australian Research Council’s Linkage Program. The projects span across the fields of medical biochemistry, chemistry, atmospheric science, and cybersecurity and will use blockchain and cryptography to drive the development of a secure digital medical passport system, among other outcomes. The funding will boost national and international research partnerships, strengthening links with business, industry and community organisations.
