The hacking alias “Nam3L3ss” has uploaded data sets on the BreachForums site, supposedly stolen from top companies during the MOVEit transfer vulnerability case in 2023. The stolen data comprises 25 companies’ employee directories, including Amazon, MetLife and HSBC. The incident spotlights the security issues tied to third-party software and emphasises the need for companies to adopt preemptive approaches towards software supply chains.
