Memorial Hospital has experienced a ransomware attack which impacted the access to their Electronic Health Record system. The extent of the disrupt to the hospital’s operations is unknown, as are the details of when the attack occurred, the ransom demand and to what extent the data breach lasted. Currently, the incident has not been listed among known healthcare data breaches by the U.S. Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
