How AdventHealth used AI to identify 23% more patients with cancer risk

AdventHealth has introduced a program using artificial intelligence (AI) to assess a patient’s risk of developing breast cancer by comparing their medical history with similar anonymous patient records. Early findings show a 23% increase in patients identified as high risk. The Genomics Risk Assessment for Cancer and Early Detection program also conducts risk assessments for other hereditary cancers and is being used in mammography centers and primary care practices.
