Securelist researchers have identified a new malware, “SteelFox”, targeting Microsoft Windows software users who download pirated software. The malware, which has infected over 11,000 users, extracts sensitive data, including credit card information and login credentials, and mines cryptocurrency. To avoid infection, users are advised to only download software from official sources and be cautious of unidentified links and attachments.
