Cryptocurrency-seeking hackers are increasingly focusing on macOS users, with cyberattacks on Mac users growing by nearly 60% over the past 10 months, according to a report from endpoint detection firm Trellix. This is attributed to the increased use of cross-platform languages, enabling hackers to target multiple operating systems. Particularly active is North Korea’s Lazarus Group, which is targeting macOS to support its thirst for digital currencies.
