A 17-year-old has been arrested and bailed in the UK following a September 2021 cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL) that accessed personal customer data, including around 5,000 customers’ bank information. TfL, which runs most of the transport network in London, was forced to temporarily suspend some services. The suspect, from Walsall, West Midlands, was held on suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offences.
