New FakeCall Android Malware Redirects Bank Phone Calls To Scammers Invisibly

A malware called FakeCall, which takes over an Android phone dialer and has evolved to be able to mimic trusted contact information, has been discovered. It can hack phone calls to banks, making them instead go to scammers. The malware can also simulate clicks and gestures, further infecting phones. Downloading apps from the Google Store reduces the risk of installing such malware.
