More than 100 million affected in Change Healthcare hack, UnitedHealth says

Healthcare data of over 100 million people was stolen in a ransomware attack on Change Healthcare, confirming this for the first time. UnitedHealth, the owner of Change, revealed that one-third of Americans were potentially affected by the breach. The stolen data could include health insurance info and personal health records. The company paid a $22m ransom to the ransomware group AlphV/BlackCat. This attack is now the largest data breach in history.
