Approximately 6.7 million Americans suffer from heart failure, a figure projected to rise. Despite treatment advances, heart failure is associated with significant mortality and costs. Remote patient monitoring (RPM) has potential to manage the condition effectively, reducing hospitalisations. Vice president of nursing and care delivery at AI-powered RPM company Brook Health, Alexandria Foley, discussed the application of RPM tech for heart failure. She highlighted its use for real-time issue detection, AI data analysis and identifying symptom trends, promoting early intervention and minimising hospital visits.
