The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has updated and upgraded its Analytics Maturity Assessment Model (AMAM) to reflect the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in the health sector. The modified model looks beyond AI adoption to measure its impact on operations and care quality. It includes a focus on governance, privacy and security, analytics lifecycle, equitable application of AI models, and fostering responsible analytics among others.
