Android users in South Korea are being targeted by a new mobile malware campaign, SpyAgent, which scans for images that might contain mnemonic keys for cryptocurrency wallets. Users are tricked into installing fake apps, which collect data once downloaded. The malware initially communicated via HTTP requests, but has upgraded to WebSocket connections to avoid detection by network monitoring tools.
