Hackers Leak 1.4 Billion Tencent User Accounts Online

Chinese internet giant Tencent has suffered a data leak exposing 1.4 billion user accounts, including emails, phone numbers, and QQ IDs. The data was leaked by “Fenice”, the same threat actor who recently leaked data from National Public Data. The information possibly originated from the “Mother of All Breaches”, a massive data leak involving over 26 billion records from various domains. This breach may lead to privacy violations, reputational damage, financial impact, regulatory scrutiny, and increased cybersecurity risks.
